===== WeFransfer =====

Yes, you are reading it correctly, this is a special version of a WeTransfer utility posted by Yoda ICT. Typically it can be used to share a file located on our //Shared Folders// Network drive with a third party **outside** of the Logic organization.

**Note:** do not use any special characters in path or filename.

WeFransfer is available in your //Parallels Client// and on your local desktop.

  - When you launch it, it opens a small window and shows a button to //Select a File//.
  - Make sure that the file does not contain any spaces in its name (you can rename the file by clicking it and replacing spaces with _ ).
  - After selecting a file, you can optionally add a password when the receiver wants to open the file.
  - You can also set an expiry date for the download. We recommend that you **always** set an expiry date (fi. 5 business days) and inform the recipient about the expiration date.
  - When finished, press the //Generate Link// button.
  - A public link is created and placed on your local clipboard.
  - You can now create an email to the recipient and paste the link in your email.

The recipient can click the link and download the file. They cannot see any other file or folder in our //shared drive//.
 
If you want to send multiple files at once, you can use the zip function under the Share tab in the toolbar.
