====== Invoices ======

The Logic Logistics department is responsible for creating Invoices. An //Invoice// is created when an //Order// is (partially) shipped to the //Account//.

The //Purchaser// and the //Primary Contact// and the //Invoice Owner// are informed of the shipment by starting the //Workflow// "Order Fulfillment to Purchase Contact".

In order for this Workflow to succeed, a number of //Attributes// need to contain data in the //Invoice//:
  * PO Number
  * Purchase Contact
  * Primary Contact

Both Purchase Contact and Primary Contact need to have an //email address// associated and they should be //allowed to email//.

The Workflow distinguishes between Customer Orders and EmbeddedPlaza Orders through the name in the Purchase Contact Attribute. If the //Attributes Preferred Carrier, Account Number, Tracking Info// are empty, the Workflow assumes that it was an Electronic Delivery or Invoice Only PO and sends out an email accordingly. If not, then it was a physical shipment and the email contains tracking info.

The Workflow only runs when the //Invoice// has the //Status Reason// **New**.
===== Copy or Clone Invoices =====

For repetitive Invoices from Customers (where we do not receive repetitive purchase orders from), you can use a Workflow that creates a copy of an existing //Invoice// including its //Invoice Products// and details:

  - Open the //Invoice// you want to copy
  - In the Menu below the //Ribbon//, select the 3 dots to open up the More Actions drop down menu and press //Run Workflow//.
  - A //Look Up Record// Window opens. Select **Clone Invoice With Products** Workflow and Press Add.
  - Press OK in the //Confirm Application of Workflow// Window.

The Copy process runs in the background and it may take up to a minute before the Workflow completes.

The following //Attributes// are not copied but left blank:
**Invoice:**
  * Date Delivered
  * Invoice Due Date
  * Tracking Code

**Invoice Product:**
  * Delivered On
  * Current Serial Numbers
  * New Serial Numbers
  * Warranty End Date

====== Invoice Paid ======
After receipt of payment, our finance department enters the SAP B1 Invoice number in the //SB1 Invoice// Attribute and completes the Invoice by pressing the Button //Invoice Paid//. Now the Invoice is locked and its status is changed to 'Completed' with 'Paid'.

===== Quick Find =====

The following Attributes are searched when you select a Quick Find:

  * Customer (=Account)
  * Name
  * PO Number
