<p>Het project ‘Easy Street’ in Breda bestond uit twee delen; het ‘studentenblok’ (8.000 m2 ) en de ‘Carrè’ (15.000 m2). Hielkema architecten ontwikkelde met Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum een aantal bijzondere glazuren. De architect zocht een glazuur die van nature een levendigheid en nuancering laat zien in plaats van uniforme effen kleuren.</p>
<p>Met ruim 60 m2 zijn het appartementen geworden in een nieuw complex vol starters en singles. Het gebouw staat centraal op een groene campus, waar verderop ook studenten wonen. Op de campus staan ook handige voorzieningen, zoals een afhaalrestaurantje en een fitness centrum. Het betreft in totaal 246 starters- en 120 studentenappartementen.</p>
