All we had to do was select either the C or D drive, or both, from a drop-down menu. Jing makes it very easy to grab screenshots and videos straight from your PC, and then save them or share them on the Web. The coolest part of this experiment--in theory--is Jing's integration with Screencast.com, a hosting service for videos recorded off your computer. Once you've recorded a video, you can save it to your Screencast account, and from there you can get an embed code to put it in a blog or other page. The experimental Jing is great, but oddly, the well-established Screencast.com site is the weak link in the chain. It's unattractive, and the embed codes are nearly impossible to find. As you might expect from the company that produces Firefox itself, the appeal of Weave is that it synchronizes more than just bookmarks, and also supports syncing open tabs, history, passwords, preferences, and Firefox 3's advanced Location Bar data. The add-on lives in your Tools menu and in your Options menu. From there you can check your syncing log, create a user account and password, and toggle sync settings. The default is to sync all. Mozilla;Minimo;Get a Web browser for your mobile devices.; CNET Editors' review by: CNET Staff on December 05, 2008 As a mini Mozilla, Minimo enters the fray of mobile browsers, filling the Firefox-shaped hole made sharper by the presence of cell-phone-size competitors vying for mobile browsing authority--Pocket IE, Opera Mini, and Yahoo Go. We found that on our PDA, Minimo is a strong candidate with decent browsing speeds, a modest but useful palette of preferences, and a slight twist on the tabbed browsing interface. For one, the browsing toolbar resides on the bottom of the screen and includes mobile-specific buttons for showing and hiding the address bar, increasing text size, and panning around the screen.
